There are lots of weird things that happen in reviews (from real people). I've often come across three-star reviews which say: "Product was awesome, but shipping took three days, not one". There are other reviews I've found useful, for example ones that point out minor flaws. That ability would be lost if you had a simple "good/bad" reaction only.
