Agreed, the birds are an especially nice touch[1] (clearly not doves of peace). 1: https://github.com/BlackOtton/RedStar-Media/blob/main/Backgrounds/images/%EC%84%A0%EA%B5%B08%EA%B2%BD/%EB%8B%A4%EB%B0%95%EC%86%94%EC%B4%88%EC%86%8C%EC%9D%98%20%EC%84%A4%EA%B2%BD.jpg https://github.com/BlackOtton/RedStar-Media/blob/main/Backgr...

Those are 까치, Korean Magpie. It's a somewhat common and culturally important bird in Korea.

    What do they signify?

They usually signify Korean people themselves.

I don't think they signify much, but they're considered cute little friendly buds in Korea.

I can't stop laughing at this image. I keep telling myself it can't be real but it is. Also particularly fond of these sweet tractors. https://github.com/BlackOtton/RedStar-Media/blob/main/Backgrounds/images/%EC%84%A0%EA%B5%B08%EA%B2%BD/%ED%95%9C%EB%93%9C%EB%A0%88%EB%B2%8C%EC%9D%98%20%EC%A7%80%ED%8F%89%EC%84%A0.jpg https://github.com/BlackOtton/RedStar-Media/blob/main/Backgr...
