The carbon that makes up the cardboard was carbon that was once in the environment. I’d rather landfill it and remove it from the carbon cycle than spend resources attempting to reuse it.
- gmuslera 6y agoYou have to take into account that both the 100m oil barrels/day, and all the carbon that is being released in the artic was not in the environment/carbon cycle. And those volumes are several orders higher than the amounts that recycling takes out.
