The best I can get out of Google Translation is "mentitus est occultatum"
?
- the_local_host 6y ago"To lie" is an overloaded term - it can mean "to rest in place" or "to tell an untruth". I think the author intended the "rest in place" version; as such it should have been "has lain hidden". EDIT: Yep reply post is right "lain hidden", I was making that correction here at the same time.
- naniwaduni 6y agolain, rather—laid is the past participle of "lay", which has the same form as the simple past of "lie", because English is logical, consistent language. (And this is why "lay vs lie" is a staple of word choice mnemonic lists.)
- naniwaduni 6y agoIt seems to be poor editing (standard English would be "lain hidden"), but I'm not sure why you want to feed it into gtl.
- B1FF_PSUVM 6y agoTo see if it could parse the phrase better than I ... (There are probably better grammar checkers/advisers, that was what came to mind.)
