I don't think it is, but it's an interesting find.
- bentruyman 15y agoIsn't that just the "Reset to Factory Defaults" switch?
- DrJ 15y agodepends on how hard you press it,
- sp332 15y agoNo way, lots of people have done that. I even installed a BIOS compatibility hack into the EFI ROM and installed stock Ubuntu 10.04 on it. Disconcertingly, it seems more responsive than the ChromeOS!
- GrandMasterBirt 15y agoI still use my Cr-48 as a tool. A useful tool. More of a computer condom if you will. When my friends visit and browse various sites, instead of the occasional virus, my Cr-48 keeps me computer-disease free and worry free. Now everyone can touch my laptop and I won't mind. So ubuntu on it? I think not good sir! Back on topic. Will It Blend? (http://www.willitblend.com/ http://www.willitblend.com/) > Large Easter Egg Plastic Shell > A cr-48 easter egg. Did I find it?
- eternalmatt 15y agoNo, developer mode is something you have to do if you want root access to install Ubuntu or others. I have a Cr-48 running in developer right now.
