My son who is finishing up HS this year is doing amazing. His curriculum is exactly the same as it would have been had he attended class room lessons, nothing has changed. He told me that there is no/less disruption during his lessons. The usual classroom bullshit is not a factor, allowing for a better learning environment. It would be great if schools in the future could offer remote learning as a choice. I suppose this would run counter to what the teacher unions want and would certainly affect the school districts ability in building their empire. Those 8 million dollar stadiums (Texas), constant school reno's, never ending technology upgrades, teacher pay increases, buying land for future expansion, replacing all their playing fields with artificial turf (about 2 million per field), batting cages, swimming pools, tennis courts, to the tune of 3 bonds in the last 3 years worth a billion dollars plus (latest one is for 750 Million) wouldn't be needed. It's insane but it's all presented to the Dumb Tax Payer (who doesn't understand the cost to him/her) as "It's for the children".
The sooner the US Education System (it's a big business) is disrupted the better.
