The author seems like they're trying to disprove one subjective experience with their own, and act like it's an obvious fact - despite the author almost certainly never having months of school due to a pandemic. To continue this trend, I certainly enjoyed school. Again though, anecdotes. I look forward to seeing the actual data that comes out of this period and how it's affected childrens schooling. Personally I suspect it will be a net negative.
