Why is that hard to imagine?
The plant based meat industry alone had a $4 billion market in 2020, about 39% of which is in the US, and it's total is forecasted to grow to $14 billion by 2027. [1]
While not a direct comparison, the US meat market is around a $7 billion annual market. [2]

- TheRealSteel 6y agoThat doesn't make sense to me at all. You're telling me the plant-based meat market in America is 57% of the size of real-meat, and that the average spend on meat in the US is only 20$ per person per year?
