Not quite this, but I think the enforced discipline of parenthood has made me a better worker overall. My ability to procrastinate hasn’t been eliminated, but every moment available to work feels more precious so I’m much better about just jumping in and getting things done. I also have hard stops and self imposed deadlines like I didn’t before, so I’m more efficient in “just getting things done.”
