In my experience, I've been unable to detect any discernable difference compared to other 16bit or 24bit Hi-Res audio at 44.1 or 96KHz. What _is_ totally discernable is the file sizes in the gigabytes ranges as opposed to tens of megabytes for equivalent 44.1/96KHz flacs.
