Inbox Zero is a methodology to manage the constant flow of e-mail landing in your inbox that maximizes clarity. The main goal is to clear your mind of the monotonous task of handling e-mail and concentrate on the work you purposely want to get done. I've been guilty of driving e-mail accounts to Inbox Infinity all my life. Six months ago, I started a new job, and that meant I got a brand new e-mail address to go with it. I literally had zero unread e-mails in my inbox that day. Maybe that's cheating, but for me, it was the perfect opportunity to implement an Inbox Zero system from scratch and to maintain an organized inbox for the first time.
