Do the sanctuaries actually work?

- bmitc 6y agoI don’t know because I don’t think they’ve really been tried. The sanctuary in Nova Scotia, to my understanding, is huge and is supposed to help rehabilitate previously captive whales and house them forever. Captive whales are unlikely to survive out in the wild on their own (maybe, I don’t know), and so the project is to give them a natural home instead of being in concrete tanks. https://whalesanctuaryproject.org https://whalesanctuaryproject.org
