Yesterday I was rocking my baby to sleep for his mid-day nap, and at the same time reading up on documentation for a new library I’m using. His room is dimly lit and very quiet, only some faint bird chirping out the window. The warmth of his body on my chest, the sweet smell of his head, and the quiet atmosphere made for the best documentation reading of my life. Fuck the office.
