Switzerland has the loosest gun laws in the world next to America. They have laws REQUIRING able bodied males have a gun. Also, The Swedes inteternally had a coup to overthrow the monarchy. I can't imagine the monarchy turned over it's power due to love or because someone asked nicely. I imagine there's a significant possibility the threat of weapons may have been present.
