But their primary business is designed around making the iPhone environment pleasant and unscary. While Google's is about optimally monetizing information about me. I trust Apple and Google just the same... to both do their best to follow their business interests. It just happens that one happens to align more with my interests than the other. If you think Apple and Google handle privacy essentially the same aside from superficial marketing, I think that means you don't understand what either of them want.
