- Normille 6y agoAeons ago when I started at Art College just outside of Belfast, we had a Malaysian guy in our class. I was chatting to him at lunchtime and he asked me where he could catch the bus into London. Sounds unbelievable. But, back in Malaysia, he'd chosen our college from a provided list of 'British' ones, assuming they would all be somewhere in the vicinity of London. Ending up instead in 1980s Belfast must have been quite the culture shock! [For those not geographically au fait with the British Isles, Belfast is in Ireland. London is in England. different countries. Different Islands]
