  Dabbled in it in college. 20 years ago as an online editor. At time I hadn’t yet formed strong opinions about left or right politics. I was shocked when dealing with an advisor a major paper on the tone changed to running hit pieces, then “moving on” when complaints came in. Basically anything that happened before current day was supposed to be forgotten or dismissed. Always moving forward with no responsibility. Our old advisor came back and it went to more normal pieces. These days most news articles are more hit/propaganda pieces. So long as you stay in the lines you are encouraged to hurt people as much as possible.
