Personally, to offload articles I want to read later on and for reading longer articles, in a deferred fashion.
Pocket’s UI and reading experience suits me very well.
- alaq 6y agoI think what OP meant was why go the self-hosted route for the feed reader but not the read-later application.
- modmodmod 6y agoStill need to find a good read-later alternative, could be an idea. Pocket is just my long-used application, got so used to it
