I've been taping filters to box fans for decades. Got them running in my home and office 24/7. I put a filter on each side. It's pretty impressive how much they catch.
- souprock 6y ago2-sided is a great idea. It would cut down the noise. Put a washable pre-filter on the intake, and a disposable HEPA filter on the output. What about fit though, with the homegrown solution? Is that a square foot of tape to fill the gaps? Changing filters looks to be a big taping job.
