My machine needs to be online 24/7, so I reboot it just once a week, on Sunday. I'm not forced to do that, I just like the idea of a "fresh start" since I don't have ECC memory and I do detect a bit flip (through CRC checks) every 2 months or so. You can keep pushing update required reboots forward as much as you want, one week at a time, so I just push it past the Sunday reboot.
