Ask HN: Recommend Books on Automata?
Stephen Wolfram's work has gotten me interested in the field.
Besides his books. What other authors/books do you recommend?
- brudgers 6y agoHopcroft and Ullman is the classic work. I used to have a copy bought used for less than $10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introduction_to_Automata_Theory,_Languages,_and_Computation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introduction_to_Automata_Theor...
