That is the closest I have seen any rendered 3D faces getting to escaping the uncanny valley. The subtle mouth animations and volumetric lips that actually look like they are made of skin and flesh. Most mo-caps looks creepy as hell when mapped over to a mesh. This makes it work very well.
What especially gives this away is the hair lighting and the teeth.
Some final touches could really seal the deal. Right now the models still very "perfect" despite a lot of randomness. All strands of hair are perfectly smooth and the same color. You need that odd hair out that is gray despite all other being black, you need an eyelash that bends a different direction than the others.
It still amazes me that this is what I'm complaining about right now. Great work to all the engineers who worked on this!
