How does this compare to other badge services like Shields.io?

• bminortx 6y ago
The badge designs themselves are modeled after the badges generated by Shields.io. However, when the Tangram team was putting together our CI pipeline, we realized that we couldn't use a Shields-like service because most of our repositories are private (no public pings, you know). So, since we're a Rust-heavy organization, we decided to generate our own badges during CI. Seeing that current Rust-based offerings were lacking compared to something like Shields.io... we just made our own!
