In my experiences, most of the times when "TSA agents" get annoyed, is because they're part of the $10/hr contractor service. As long as it's not the gun they use to test them on a regular basis, they don't appear to care one bit. The real TSA agents however, do appear to care. And I'd also argue they're also quite competent. But Snowden was indeed correct that 95% of the people you deal with at the "federal government" are contractors - of varying quality.
