  Yes, but not always true with investments. Such a strategy is dangerous when you're looking at a Ponzi scheme, or a pump and dump, or anything else that is designed to leave the late entrants as the bag holders. I'm not saying that's what Bitcoin is, just that it's dangerous to be a late entrant to an investment and you should be more wary
