So, so obsessed with vaccine, we did not even try simple obvious treatments until now ?
- gus_massa 6y agoThere has been a lot of tries with other treatments, a lot. The most similar to this is Dexamethasone, for example https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23538131 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23538131 7 months ago, and it was apparently useful. People also tried with many antiviral drugs that are useful against flu and other virus, but IIRC none of them worked. The infamous Chloroquine/Hydroxychloroquine (+Zinc?). There are some studies about vitamin D that apparently is useful, and vitamin C that apparently is not useful. And all the fuzz about Chlorine Dioxide that makes no sense at all.
