But what if you want to match to value of some variable in the scope? I see no "^pinning" of variables or stuff like that. There's "dotted" syntax, but it works

But what if you want to match to value of some variable in the scope? I see no "^pinning" of variables or stuff like that. There's "dotted" syntax, but it works only for constants and fields, not local variables, right? Am I missing something?
- danohuiginn 6y agoIMO the obvious solution would be to allow a bare dot, like .local_variable But I don't see that, or any other solution for local variables, in the PEP
