I have heard that grad schools look for applicants with industry experience. Does that really make that much of a difference? I have interned at a small company and will be interning at Apple this summer. I know its only for the summer and will not get as much exposure compared to working full time for a year. I do plan on obtaining a couple other internships throughout the year and definitely next summer. Don't a lot of people go straight to grad school without working full time?
