Is Dungeons and Dragons Racist?
- LinuxBender 6y agoMaybe this is the wrong question? Is every aspect of discussing race or species bad, especially when it is being used in the context and by design of telling a story? Does D&D make fun of these species or use words that are pejoratives to describe them? Would the story make sense without describing all the beings in these worlds? I ask this because in my experience, D&D provided incredible stories, lore and described powerful attributes of a vast array of species. I still have all the Encyclopedia Magica. I suppose I could re-read them with a more critical eye.
