Why are you using fullstory.com on your website? This does not inspire confidence in a product that is also available for selfhosting.

- jart 6y agoKloudi uses FullStory in its Electron GUI too! https://justine.lol/kloudi.png https://justine.lol/kloudi.png If anyone's wondering, FullStory is basically a keylogger that gives you the godlike ability to spy on your users in real time. https://www.fullstory.com/blog/want-to-co-browse-with-your-customers-in-real-time-go-live-with-fullstory https://www.fullstory.com/blog/want-to-co-browse-with-your-c... We live in a creepy orwellian world. It amuses me that the authors of this "command line" thought they could fool Hacker News.
- nitish_mehrotra 6y agoHey Nitish here! We use FullStory only on our electron apps to understand how we can improve Kloudi in the future. In our upcoming release tonight we plan to provide this is an optional feature in case you want to opt out of it.

- shaicoleman 6y agoI can see why FullStory would be useful, especially in the context of usability tests, but enabling without explicit opt-in consent is super creepy. https://www.fastcompany.com/90152433/the-popular-web-design-tool-thats-actually-a-massive-privacy-nightmare https://www.fastcompany.com/90152433/the-popular-web-design-...
