NYT is glaringly inaccurate if you're closer to the source of the news. Not merely a bias or a cherry picking of the data, but just really shallow research. From a distance though, most articles will seem well-researched (even if opinionated) - and in the majority of cases we're not connected to the subject at hand. I will still keep my subscription, because the half-truths are almost always well-written; better than everyone else.
