Reddit to me feels very undervalued. As witnessed by the GameStop saga and previously through the influence of r/D_T, Reddit has tremendous influence on modern society and shapes a lot of our narratives. They should be valued way over $6bn

- betwixthewires 6y agoWell you've got to have a concrete metric to come to that number. And while reddit is still hugely influential, it isn't what it used to be and it's importance is waning. A lot of the discourse is happening distributed across the internet nowadays, which I personally think is a good thing.
- stopChanging 6y agoI agree, but only if I compare to airbnb ($120B), doordash & roku (59B), or maybe the more directly comparable snapchat at 95B. Perspective is skewed by the stock market doing crazy things lately. Reddit doesn't get the benefit of that.
