Ask HN: Does anyone have a Stripe test account with a lot of data?
I am writing a program that I expect to work with a wide range of Stripe accounts, but populating a Stripe account with a lot of diverse data, and making events occur in real time to mirror a production account is quite difficult.
Does anyone have scripts or something similar with a lot of data? The more data the better as I am also testing throughput.

- throwaway888abc 6y agoYou can use https://github.com/marak/Faker.js/ https://github.com/marak/Faker.js/ or https://www.mockaroo.com/ https://www.mockaroo.com/ for your practice. As bonus you can have as much data as you need and don't need to ask.
- justsomeuser 6y agoThanks, but I was thinking more along the lines of something that actually writes to the Stripe API.
