Paying patent license fees is a lot like paying off terrorists in hopes they'll go away.
- sliverstorm 15y agoFor the big companies, it's probably a lot more like paying off terrorists with hundreds of nuclear silos in hopes that they won't nuke you. The settlement they want is miniscule compared to the damage they can do to you.
- arethuza 15y agoSounds more like organized crime than terrorism, with the legal system as the enforcers.
