Hey HN! The backstory of Zeneca What would you do if you had 10 million dollars? I told my cofounder Joe, that the the most important difference in my life would be building a large personal library. He thought, well, he can't get me a real library, but what about a virtual one instead? That got us excited. We looked around, and found existing solutions were a bit meh. Most people share their books in plaintext. What if there was a space where you could showcase your books and be proud? Zeneca's goal is to do just that and more. All of us spend a lot of time on social networks. What if we spent more of that time being social about books? We hope Zeneca is a canvas for you to share books and connect with others. Right now, here’s what you can do: You can share books and get a cool handle, like this: www.zeneca.io/joe www.zeneca.io/stopa You can share favorite quotes and send hearts (see video in home page) And, the more books you add, the more like-minded readers you discover. Fun fact: we built Zeneca in clojure front and back. We’re really excited about this and would love to hear your feedback. And of course, we would love to see your library :) -- Feel free to share a link in the comments.

Impressed with what I see. A place for book discussions has been long needed ever since GoodReads has stagnated.

Great work guys. Common reading lists seems like a strong signal for getting in touch with interesting people. Also might be an interesting conversation starter with people you already know. Also, very interested to peruse other peoples lists. A full book list isn't something that usually comes out during an in-person conversation.

I thought this was so wholesome. Good luck, guys! I'll be active as much as I can. While Goodreads has turned into a book review machine, I look forward to more community on Zeneca :).

Great work! Love the backstory. Clean and intuitive design. Looking forward to seeing how this develops further.
