my experience with webpack has been if you want to do exactly what it was designed to do, it's great, but if you want different setup it's best used as just as a bundler instead of as entire build pipeline. not that it's not possible, but it's like pulling a tooth.
- gitgud 6y agoYeah that's true, I mean I use gulp for browser extension builds, as there's a few random tasks (img compression, copying files, babel) that need to be done in order to build cross platform.
