- MaxBarraclough 6y agoWhat's the advantage over the command shown in the article? sudo ifconfig en0 ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx It's been years since I've had a need to spoof a MAC address, but that's the command that worked for me last time on an Ubuntu machine.
