Certain fields legitimately should ask. If you’ve been convicted of financial crimes or theft a bank should know before hiring you. Likewise schools should know if you’ve hurt children before.
- aparsons 6y ago100%. We’re seeing a huge (loud) “help the cons” movement, but the fact is a lot of them are bad people and we need to tread carefully. I for one will certainly not hire somebody who has committed certain classes of crimes, no matter how “rehabilitated” they claim they are.
