- detaro 6y agoWhere do you see that the shortages only affect 7nm parts? Because they don't, a wide range is impacted.
- FrozenVoid 6y agoMarket is dictated by 7nm as its the current gen lithography tech(with some 5nm fabs operating now) . You don't see them rushing to build fresh 40/65nm fabs just because cheap processors are in deficit, because its not profitable long-term.
- detaro 6y agoAnd still, parts larger than 7nm are currently in shortage. 7nm is obviously extreme due to large competition around limited fab capacity, but not the only area with problems.
