Like maybe having a good supply of oil to run diesel generators to supply power for charging stations, maybe?
- raverbashing 6y agoWhy would they need that? Power from the grid is still cheaper than a diesel generator.
- TaylorAlexander 6y agoDiesel generator is useful when the grid is down.
- sgt 6y agoThe grid never goes down in the western world. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get more gasoline for my generator.
- tartoran 6y agoAs demand for ICE will decrease so will demand for gas and that would drive the price down wouldn’t it? It may be in fact based on generators, especially in remote areas. IDK, I may be completely off here as gas is not the most efficiently converted into electricity but rather than give up the industry will find ways to valorize their assets. Ideally Id like the whole fossil indy to go away but am not sure how that’s going to pan out
