Let's go one step further: Suppose there's an app which is openly racist and discriminates against POCs, and that is in accordance with the law in the US (as it was not too long ago). Should Google allow that app, since it's in accordance with the law and it makes them money, or should they consider if the law is unethical according to their own moral compass? Perhaps this hypothetical question is erroneous, as it assumes a trillion dollar corporation would be more concerned with ethics and morals than providing infinite growth for their shareholders.
