I tried to use spyder on some projects, but the constant crashing without restoration of my work got old very quickly.
- ccordoba12 6y agoThis was fixed in Spyder 4 by providing autosave functionality to our editor. You should give it a try again.
- lytefm 6y agoI've been using Spyder for my whole DS master and rarely experiences crashes on Ubuntu, unless I've managed to go OOM. That being said, I've been using Spyder 4 via pip since the 4.0.0 release while Spyder 3 was still the default on conda. Autosave is definitely useful.
