I thought of writing about that but felt it was all subjective and that I couldn't make a UX argument for why it is objectively better.
- intranation 15y agoOne reason is using things like the Instapaper or Pinboard bookmarklets without showing the bookmark toolbar. I guess you're supposed to use extensions, but I prefer a "fire and forget" approach to bookmarking (i.e I've pressed something once, leave me alone after that).
