As far as your other handwaving dismissals, all I can say is actions and words from public figures, especially politicians, have consequences. You might not agree, which is fine, but this is how we get January 6th. I hope you condemn that too. And I have never, not once, heard "we should should shoot Ted Cruz", or anything even close to that. For, you know, Republican politicians. Democrats, many, many times.
