Yes, we need satellite data to get that level of precision.
When we’re talking about 1200 ton single block of granite on soft sand, we just don’t move it. Ok. We don’t take it over mountain and over river.
There was huge project in California when they transported 340 ton rock. They needed satellite data to find a route that was flat enough as their specially built transporter wasn’t able to take it up hill at all.
The reality is: you cannot fit enough slaves under such rock to lift it. How ancients were able to transport these rocks in your opinion?
- pwinnski 6y agoAs I said in my previous comment, using water and ramps and rollers[0]. They used satellite data and a specially-built transporter, which is not the same thing as it only being possible to do with satellite data and a specially-built transporter. When you have simple tools at hand, you figure out how to do things with simple tools. When you have a large budget and advanced technology at hand, you figure ou how to do things in a way that consumes the entire budget. You're very, very invested in the idea that aliens or whatever built these things, so clearly nothing will convince you. But we are continually making new discoveries about these things, and so far there really is nothing that requires anything more than very, very clever thinkers and simple machines. Believe what you want to believe, but know that the research isn't on your side. 0. https://www.discovery.com/exploration/how-the-pyramids-were-built https://www.discovery.com/exploration/how-the-pyramids-were-...
- miika 6y agoI’m not into ancient aliens stuff actually. I believe in engineering and science. Clearly we follow quite different kind of researchers and see things from different perspectives. Which is great, I hope your way works for you as well as my way works for me :)
