Don’t say you are merely trying to get rich, tell them it’s a crusade against the 1%, or Wall Street itself, and build a story of evil men twirling mustaches as they throw ladders at poor apes merely trying to climb to the top. Then when the entire trade implodes (making many of the villains even richer) you still have a hard core of indoctrinated soldiers riding their positions into dust while you get out.
