Heavy metal poisoning would explain a lot of social issues. Maybe I’m just old and grumpy, but it seems to me that we have an excessive number of people who are violent, and waaaay too many who are dull-witted and susceptible to the most inane sales pitches, political shysterism, and religious lunacy. Eating lead and cadmium to excess during infancy could well be the cause.
