State-funded pre-K may enhance math achievement
- sharemywin 6y agoJust have your kid make a sprite game with scratch. x-y coordinates. positive and negative numbers. decimals. learning what holding for .5 seconds versus 1 second versus 2 seconds in between an animation. same with how much your character moves on the screen 1 pixel versus 5 versus 10. I think it gives kids/people an intuitive feeling of a lot of math. same with measuring cups for fractions.
