The SF school board is like a junior varsity team for the board of supervisors. Many supervisors started there. The people on it are auditioning for higher office. The one thing they can never do is piss off the teachers union, since unions have so much political sway in California.
- d6d6eheheh 6y agoYou can't just expect educators to think the most important thing in life is an education. Hope they all get replaced with charter schools.
- redis_mlc 6y agoMarxists are against charter schools, so we'll see if those will continue to exist or not in cities like SF since private schools can substitute Marxist ideology. In some areas of North America, non-Muslim families are considering sending their kids to Islamic schools to get away from Marxist (CTR, trans-first, etc.) public school programs. Or Catholic, etc.
