Show HN: Mandelbrot Set in a Bootloader
- encse 6y agoTime to time I feel a need going back to the good old days and recently ran into some really old stuff from my childhood. While browsing my archives I found a mandelbrot set drawer I wrote around 1998 or so in C for DOS. I decided to give it a twist and revise my memories about 16 bit real mode assembly so I rewrote it from scratch. Also added mouse support for zooming in and out and wrapped it in a bootloader because why not.... Are you guys like me enjoying these ancient environments?
- encse 6y agoI would be really really happy if someone could boot it on a real machine and made a photo of it...
